Capacity Building programme is conducted to train the Presidents and Members of the Consumer Commissions to improve their skills in deciding the consumer cases more effectively. Topics like development of consumer protection laws and challenges, liability for medical negligence under Consumer Protection Act, e-commerce and consumer protection, emphasis on fostering values of judicial/quasi-judicial procedure, role of AI in protection of consumer interest, speedy and efficient disposal of cases etc. are discussed in the programme. |
